Privacy Policy
Privacy Policy
This is the privacy policy for Adam Whitfield, the public website at https://adamwhitfield.me, and the Adam Whitfield Content Tools used to support its publishing workflow.
Newsletter
If you subscribe, we store your email address, signup time, signup source, IP address, browser user agent, and referrer. This is used only to run the Sunday note, prevent abuse, diagnose signup issues, and maintain unsubscribe or suppression records if email delivery is enabled later.
The site is hosted on Vercel. Newsletter signup records are stored in a private VPS Postgres database with limited write-only application credentials. We do not sell the newsletter list or share it with advertisers.
Product purchases
If you buy a direct digital product through Gumroad, Gumroad acts as reseller and merchant of record. It processes the checkout, payment, receipt, tax, file delivery, and refund workflow. Gumroad can provide AVANVISION PTY LTD with buyer contact and order information that is needed for delivery, support, refunds, fraud prevention, and business records.
We do not ask you to send payment-card information to us. Gumroad will handle payment information under its own privacy policy. We use buyer information only for the purchase, support, legal records, and product updates that the buyer requests or permits.
Read the Gumroad privacy policy for its current processing terms.
Pinterest API
Adam Whitfield Content Tools may use the Pinterest API only after the Adam Whitfield Pinterest account authorizes access. The tool is for Adam-owned content operations: creating and managing original Pins or boards, reading IDs or status for Adam-owned content, and supporting manual publishing workflows.
The tool does not collect Pinterest login credentials, does not scrape Pinterest, does not store third-party Pinterest content for redistribution, does not benchmark competitors, and does not sell or share Pinterest API data.
Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics to count page views and broad geography. It is cookieless and does not identify you personally.
